The Chula Vista Community Collaborative and San Ysidro Health paired up to host an event tailored to the needs and demands of Palomar High School students and clients at Open Door FRC. On Thursday, November 17, 2022, an Adolescent and Young Adult Resource Fair were
held at the campus parking lot to promote a healthier lifestyle for our community.
The services provided were:
Teen Clinic services- Reproductive health/STI information
HIV information and testing (mobile unit)
HIV/Substance misuse prevention, testing, and screening.
Participants received a $25 gift card for completing a substance use questionnaire.
Teen dating violence
The resource fair started at 10:30 am and ended at 12:30 pm with an incredible turnout! This event opened the opportunity for the San Ysidro Health team to return and provide services every last Monday of the month and have the resource fair return at a larger scale
once every semester. We look forward to growing and opening the door for more events like this.
